About the Painting

Rhododendron bushes grow all over the United States. They are a native plant here. In the spring, they are covered with beautiful flowers announcing that winter is over and the growing season has begun. I love that about them. They are an evergreen plant and when the growing season starts, they also grow clusters of new bright green leaves shooting up around the flowers.

This is an original, signed painting. This painting is part of a series, 30 paintings in 30 days that I did for the month of September 2016.
